DEEP Guidelines Regarding Bear Sightings

On behalf of the men and women of the Rocky Hill Police Department, it is my pleasure to welcome you to our web page. The Rocky Hill Police Department is comprised of individuals who are both professional and proactive in their delivery of police services to our community. It is the goal of our agency to be a progressive, community-oriented police department, while utilizing the most modern and scientific crime fighting strategies and management techniques. Our pursuit of excellence is never ending.

The Rocky Hill Police Department was established on June 1, 1938. Since then, the Department has successfully grown from a single officer operation, to one with 35 sworn officers serving a community of 19,000. Civilian personnel staff our communications and clerical divisions, allowing sworn personnel to concentrate on vital police and management matters.

Through our various divisions and specialized units, the efficient delivery of police service allows the citizens of Rocky Hill to enjoy an excellent quality of life. The Rocky Hill Police Department has forged a police-community partnership based on courtesy, professionalism and respect. The Town of Rocky Hill is a community on the move and the Rocky Hill Police Department plays a vital role in its bright future.

I hope that you enjoy your visit to our web page and I look forward to any input that you may have that could be used to improve this page or further improve our ability to provide police services. Thank you.
